8. How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in TrackAble
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your TrackAble account by requiring both a password and a verification code. This helps protect sensitive pupil and school data. Follow the steps below to enable 2FA on your TrackAble login.
Step 1: Open the 2FA Settings

Log in to TrackAble.

Click the 2FA icon on the Assessment screen.
This will take you to your security settings.
Step 2: Generate Your Secret Key

Click Generate Secret Key to Enable 2FA.

TrackAble will display a QR code and your unique secret key.
Step 3: Download an Authenticator App
If you do not already have an authenticator app installed:

Open the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS).

Search for one of the following trusted apps:

Google Authenticator

Microsoft Authenticator

Tap Install or Get.

Open the app and follow any on-screen prompts to set it up.
Step 4: Connect TrackAble to Your Authenticator App

In your authenticator app, choose the option to Add an Account or Scan a QR Code.

Scan the QR code displayed in TrackAble.

The app will generate a 6-digit verification code.
Step 5: Enable 2FA

Enter the verification code into the Authenticator Code field in TrackAble.

Click Enable 2FA.

Your TrackAble account is now protected with Two-Factor Authentication.
