Deleting an assessment framework is a permanent action and can result in the loss of significant data. This article explains what will be deleted, the risks involved, and how to delete a framework safely if required.

What Happens When You Delete an Assessment Framework?

When an assessment framework is deleted in TrackAble, all associated data is permanently removed, including:

  • Levels

  • Subjects

  • Statements

  • Star cards

  • All assessment data linked to the framework

🚨 This action cannot be undone.

Data Recovery Warning

If an assessment framework is deleted:

  • All associated assessment data is lost

  • Recovering this data may incur a charge

  • Recovery is not guaranteed

For this reason, deleting a framework should always be a last resort.

Before You Delete a Framework

Before proceeding, consider:

  • Is the framework currently in use?

  • Are pupils already baselined or assessed?

  • Would it be safer to archive or duplicate and amend the framework instead?

If you are unsure, contact TrackAble Support before deleting.

How to Delete an Assessment Framework

If you are certain you want to proceed:

  1. Go to Admin

  2. Select Assessment Frameworks

  3. Choose the framework you wish to delete

  4. Click Delete on the right-hand tab

  5. Read the warning message carefully

  6. Click Delete to confirm

Once confirmed, the framework and all related data will be permanently removed.
