112. How do I use the reports on TrackAble?
TrackAble includes a wide range of reports that provide schools with clear and meaningful information about pupil progress, attainment, behaviour, and support. This article explains how the reporting feature works, how access is controlled, and how to use the reporting wizard to generate reports effectively.
Access to Reports
The reporting feature in TrackAble can be:

Turned on or off for individual users

Restricted by report type, depending on user permissions
If you do not see Reports in your TrackAble menu, please contact your TrackAble administrator and ask them to enable access.
Report Categories in TrackAble
Reports in TrackAble are organised into the following categories:

Progress Reports

Comparison Reports
-
IEP Reports
-
Behaviour Reports
-
Pupil Information Reports
Each category contains multiple report types designed for different purposes.
How the Reporting Wizard Works
TrackAble’s reporting feature works using a step-by-step wizard.
While the available options may vary depending on the report you choose, the overall process is the same for all reports.
Using the wizard, you can generate reports for:

Individual pupils

Groups of pupils
-
All pupils
-
With the option to include archived pupils
Selecting Pupils for Your Report
Individual Pupils
To generate a report for specific pupils:
-
Tick Individual Pupil
-
Start typing the pupil’s name
-
After typing three letters, TrackAble will display matching pupils
-
Select the pupil from the list
-
Repeat to add as many pupils as required
Group of Pupils
To generate a report for a group:
-
Tick Group of Pupils
-
Use the mix-and-match filters to define your group
-
Any custom fields created in the Pupil area of TrackAble will also be available
Example:
You could generate a report for all male pupils in Key Stage 1 with ASD by selecting the relevant options.
You can also:

Exclude specific groups by ticking the Exclude box
-
Choose to include archived pupils at the bottom of the page
All Pupils
To run a report for everyone:

Select All Pupils
-
Optionally tick Include Archived Pupils
Choosing Subjects or Assessment Frameworks
TrackAble allows you to choose how subjects are included in reports.
You can:

Select an entire assessment framework, or
-
Select individual subjects within a framework
How This Works

Ticking the box next to the assessment framework includes all subjects
-
Clicking the blue dropdown arrow allows you to select specific subjects (for example, literacy only)
Click Next to continue.
Important Note
⚠️ Due to the volume of data and how reporting works in TrackAble:

You can only select one assessment framework at a time
Report Options
Available options depend on the report you are running, but may include:

Running the report by academic year
-
Running the report for a specific date
-
Displaying results termly or yearly
-
Including year start levels
-
Including predictions
-
Selecting a specific term
-
Including a Global Benchmark (Group Attainment Report only)

Focusing the report (Incidents Report only)
Output Options
Reports can be generated as:

On-screen view

Excel download
-
PDF download
