102. How do I use the IEP feature on TrackAble?

TrackAble includes a standard IEP that schools can use straight away. However, we recognise that every school has different processes and requirements for creating and managing IEPs. To support this, TrackAble allows you to fully customise the IEP feature, giving you flexibility while still maintaining consistency and robust reporting.

How You Can Customise IEPs in TrackAble

TrackAble allows schools to tailor IEPs in the following ways:

  • Set different permissions for User Groups

  • Rename the IEP (for example, EHCP)

  • Rename individual IEP fields

  • Switch off standard IEP fields you do not need

  • Add custom fields to:

    • The main IEP form

    • The IEP Targets section

  • Change the print layout for individual IEPs

  • Control visibility by setting whether users can:

    • View all IEPs

    • View only IEPs for pupils included in their User Profile (Restricted access)

These options allow schools to align TrackAble with their internal processes while maintaining compliance and usability.

Access to the IEP Feature

Access to the IEP module is controlled by a user’s profile permissions.

If you cannot access IEPs

  • You may not have the correct permissions assigned

  • Please contact your school’s TrackAble Administrator to request access

Only users with the appropriate permissions will be able to view or edit IEPs.

How to Access the IEP Module

Once permission has been granted:

  1. Go to the Assessment Screen

  2. Click IEP from the left-hand menu

You will then be taken to the IEP module.
