93. What ouputs can be generated using the Achievement Report?
Schools often request the ability to export data from TrackAble in a numerical format so it can be used to create charts and graphs in Excel. To support this, TrackAble includes an enhancement that allows progress to be output numerically, even when using assessment frameworks with P levels. This feature is available within the Achievement Report and Performance Report.
Using Progress in Decimal
When running the Achievement or Performance Report, you can choose to output progress numerically by selecting Progress in Decimal.
-
This converts assessment data into numerical values
-
The exported data can then be easily used to create charts and graphs in Excel
Creating Charts in Excel
Once the report has been exported to Excel:
-
Open the Excel file
-
Highlight the data you want to display
-
Select your preferred chart type from Excel’s chart options
Example:
A clustered column chart can be used to compare progress across pupils or subjects.
Additional Report Options
Include Year Start Levels
When this option is selected:
-
The report will show each pupil’s level at the start of the academic year
-
This helps demonstrate progress over time
Include Targets
When this option is selected:
-
The report will include targets for all pupils who have targets set
-
This allows progress to be compared against expected outcomes
Group by Pupils
When this option is selected:
-
The report will display all subjects for one pupil first
-
It will then move on to the next pupil alphabetically
-
This layout is helpful when reviewing individual pupil profiles
Output Options
The Achievement Report can be:
-
Viewed on screen within TrackAble
-
Exported as a PDF
-
Exported to Excel for further analysis and chart creation
