78. What does the Performance report show?
The Performance Report in TrackAble provides a clear breakdown of pupil progress by subject, showing how much progress has been made over time and how this compares to set targets. This report is particularly useful for tracking trends, reviewing progress across multiple academic years, and supporting performance discussions.
What the Performance Report Shows
For each subject, the report displays:
-
The pupil’s start-of-year level
-
The percentage progress made in each term
-
An average progress figure across the selected time period
If targets have been set:
-
In the on-screen view, a coloured line appears under each term showing performance against the target
-
In the Excel export, the text colour reflects how pupils are performing against their targets
Selecting Multiple Academic Years
You can select one or more academic years when running the report.
-
If multiple years are selected, TrackAble calculates progress across all included terms
-
If one year is selected, calculations are based only on the three terms in that academic year
Understanding the Average Column
The Average column is calculated as follows:
-
TrackAble adds together the progress made in each term across the selected academic years
-
The total progress is then divided by the number of terms selected
Example:
If you select 3 academic years, TrackAble will calculate the average using 9 terms of progress.
