67. What can the Zones Matrix Report be used for?
The Zones Matrix Report in TrackAble provides a clear overview of pupil performance against targets by grouping assessment frameworks into Zones. It allows schools to quickly see how many pupils are below target, just below target, on target, or exceeding target.
Before You Begin: Set Up Your Zones
Before the Zones Matrix Report can be used, Zones must be set up.

Zones allow you to group related assessment frameworks together

What the Zones Matrix Report Shows
Once Zones are set up, the report displays:

The number of pupils in each performance category:
-
Below Target
-
Just Below Target
-
On Target
-
Exceeded Target
-
This is shown for the selected Zone(s).
Report Selection Options
When running the Zones Matrix Report, you can:

Select multiple Zones at the same time
-
Select multiple assessment frameworks instead of Zones, if preferred
This gives flexibility depending on how your school structures its assessments.
Example: Combined Zone Reporting
For example:

A Science Zone could include:

Biology
-
Chemistry
-
Enquiry
-
Physics
-
When this Zone is selected, the report will:

Combine results from all included subjects

Show overall performance figures for Science as a whole
Understanding the Output

The report displays results as a percentage of 100%

Percentages are based on the total number of Zone outcomes
-
This makes it easy to compare performance across Zones or subjects
