64. What does the levels report show?

The Levels Report in TrackAble shows the percentage achieved at each level and is a key tool for checking that pupils have been correctly baselined.

What the Levels Report Shows

The report displays:

  • The percentage achieved at each assessment level

An underlined 100% indicates the pupil’s baseline level.

Using the Report to Check Baselining

The Levels Report is particularly useful for identifying baselining issues.

  • If a pupil has been baselined correctly, the 100% value will be underlined

  • If there is no underlined 100%, this usually means:

    • The pupil has not been baselined, or

    • A teacher has incorrectly used the Completed Level function instead of baselining

How to Fix Baselining Issues

If a pupil has not been baselined correctly:

  1. Clear the completed level

  2. Baseline the pupil correctly

Identifying Unbaselined Pupils

If you want to run the report specifically to find pupils who have not yet been baselined:

  1. Open the Levels Report

  2. Under Report Options, select Only Unbaselined

This will display only pupils who still require baselining.

Why Use the Levels Report?

The Levels Report helps schools to:

  • Ensure accurate assessment starting points

  • Maintain data consistency

  • Identify training or setup issues early

  • Support reliable progress tracking
