62. How do I use the injury dashboard and report?

TrackAble includes an enhanced Injury Recording feature within the Behaviour system, allowing schools to accurately record, review, and analyse injuries linked to behaviour incidents. This supports safeguarding, monitoring trends, and informed decision-making.

Recording Injuries in a Behaviour Incident

A new Injury Type field is available within the Behaviour system.

  • Record the type of injury sustained during the incident

  • This can be used alongside the Body Map to clearly mark the location of injuries

  • Multiple injuries can be documented where appropriate

Using the Body Map

The Body Map allows staff to visually record where injuries occurred on the pupil’s body.

  • This provides clearer context for incidents

  • Supports accurate safeguarding records

  • Complements written injury descriptions

Running the Injury Report

Once injuries have been recorded, you can analyse the data using the Injury Report.

The report can be generated for:

  • All pupils

  • A group of pupils

  • An individual pupil

Viewing and Exporting Injury Data

When running the Injury Report, you can:

  1. Select the academic year you wish to view

  2. Choose whether to:

    • View the data on screen, or

    • Save the report as a PDF for sharing or record-keeping

Why Use Injury Reporting?

Using injury data in TrackAble helps schools to:

  • Identify patterns or trends

  • Support safeguarding and compliance

  • Inform behaviour strategies and risk assessments

  • Maintain clear, auditable records
