60. Why can't I upload pictures or videos from my apple device into TrackAble?

If you are experiencing issues uploading photos into TrackAble from an iPad or other Apple device, this is usually caused by the camera defaulting to very high image resolution. Larger file sizes can be difficult to upload, particularly when using a slow or unstable Wi-Fi connection.

Why This Happens

Apple devices are set by default to capture images at the highest possible quality. While this produces very clear photos, it also creates large file sizes that may fail to upload into TrackAble.

How to Change Camera Settings on an iPad

  1. Open Settings on your iPad

  2. Scroll down and tap Camera

  3. Locate Auto HDR

  4. Switch Auto HDR off

What Happens Next

  • Any photos taken after this change will be smaller in file size

  • Images should upload smoothly into TrackAble

  • This is especially helpful if your school has a poor or inconsistent Wi-Fi connection

Important Note

This change only affects new photos taken after Auto HDR is switched off. Photos already saved on your device will not be resized automatically.
