# 58. How do I view, print or email an IEP?
## TrackAble allows you to quickly view, print, and email Individual Education Plans (IEPs) directly from the assessment screen, ensuring information can be securely shared with parents, carers, and professionals when needed.
### How to Access the IEP Module
1. Open a pupil’s **Assessment Screen**
2. Click **IEP** from the left-hand menu
You will be taken to the **IEP Module**.
### Viewing Existing IEPs
Within the IEP Module, you will see a list of all IEPs that have already been created in TrackAble.
- IEPs are displayed in **Date Added order**, with the **most recent at the top**.
- Access may vary depending on your permissions.
**Note:**
Depending on how TrackAble has been configured by your Administrator, you may be able to view:
- All IEPs in the school, or
- Only IEPs for pupils included in your user profile
### Searching for a Pupil
1. Use the **“Search for a pupil”** box on the right-hand side of the screen
2. Begin typing the pupil’s name
- You can enter **any 3 consecutive characters** from the name (it does not need to be the first 3 letters)
3. Click on the pupil’s name from the results list
TrackAble will display all IEPs associated with that pupil.
### Opening an IEP
1. Locate the IEP you want to view
2. Click the **“Show”** button next to the IEP
### Understanding the IEP Layout
At the top of the IEP report, you will see:
- The **TrackAble logo**
- Your **school logo** (if uploaded by your TrackAble Administrator)
If your school uses the standard TrackAble IEP layout, the report will include:
- Focus Area
- Target
- Strategy
- Success Criteria
- Evaluation
- Status
At the bottom of the report, TrackAble displays:
- The name of the person who generated the file
- The **date and time** the document was created
**Note:**
The layout and presentation of IEP data may vary depending on the **IEP print layout settings** chosen by your TrackAble Administrator.
### Emailing an IEP
1. At the top of the IEP, enter the recipient’s email address into the **“Email To”** field
2. Click **Go**
The IEP will be sent directly to the recipient.
### Printing or Saving an IEP as a PDF
To save as a PDF:
1. Click **Print/PDF**
2. On the print screen, change the destination to **Save as PDF**
3. Save the file to your device
To print:
1. Click **Print/PDF**
2. Select your printer from the drop-down list
3. Confirm printing
### Adjusting Text Size on Screen
You can adjust how the IEP appears on screen by using the:
- **+** button to increase text size
- **–** button to decrease text size
This does not affect the printed or PDF version.
