56. What is PEEP and how do I use it?

Overview

The Pupil Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) feature in TrackAble allows schools to create and manage individual emergency evacuation plans for pupils who require additional support.

Each PEEP records the specialist equipment, procedures, and staff support needed to ensure a pupil can be evacuated safely in an emergency. These plans can be easily created, reviewed, updated, and shared with relevant staff.

How to Access the PEEP Feature

1. Navigate to the Assessment screen in TrackAble

2. Click the PEEPs icon

This will take you to the PEEP management area.

How to Create a New PEEP

1. Click Add PEEP

2. Select the required pupil

3. Complete all relevant sections, including:

   • Equipment required

   • Evacuation procedures

   • Staff responsibilities

4. Click Save

The pupil’s emergency evacuation plan is now stored securely in TrackAble.

Viewing, Printing, or Sharing a PEEP

1. Open the required PEEP

2. Click Show File

From here you can:

Email the PEEP

• Enter the recipient’s email address

• Click Go to send the file

Print or Save as PDF

1. Click Print / PDF

2. Choose:

   • A printer, or

   • Save as PDF from the destination options

Viewing and Managing Existing PEEPs

1. Click List PEEPs

From this screen, you can:

• View existing PEEPs

• Edit plans when information changes

• Archive plans that are no longer required

You can also search PEEPs by pupil name or keyword, making it quick and easy to find the information you need.

School-Level Evacuation Information

If your school has added:

• A School Emergency Plan, and/or

• A School Evacuation Plan

These will automatically display within all pupil PEEPs, ensuring consistent and up-to-date information across the school.
