47. Why Can’t I See My Class in TrackAble?
In TrackAble, access to classes is controlled through user allocations. If you cannot see one or more of your classes on the Assessment Screen, Reporting, or IEP pages, it usually means the class has not been assigned to your user profile. This guide explains why this happens and how to resolve it quickly.
How Class Access Works in TrackAble
TrackAble follows two core rules:
1. Classes are attached to Users
You will only see the classes your TrackAble Administrator has assigned to you.
2. Assessment Frameworks are attached to Classes
Even if a framework is assigned correctly, you still won’t see the class unless you have been given access to that class.
Why You May Not See Your Class
Reason 1 — The class hasn’t been allocated to you
If your administrator has created new classes for the academic year, they must assign them to each teacher individually—including themselves.
Reason 2 — You are not a TrackAble Administrator
Teachers without admin permissions cannot assign classes to themselves.
How to Fix the Issue
If You Are a TrackAble Administrator
Follow the guidance in the article:
“How to Set Up Teachers and Their Classes in TrackAble”
In summary:
-
Go to Admin > Users
-
Click Edit next to your name
-
Tick the class(es) you need access to
-
Click Save
You should now be able to see your class.
If You Are Not a TrackAble Administrator
You will need your school’s TrackAble administrator to assign the class for you.
Ask them to:
-
Go to Admin > Users
-
Edit your user account
-
Tick the correct classes
-
Save the changes
Once saved, the class will immediately appear for you.
