24. How to Change Completed Stars Back to Incomplete in TrackAble
Sometimes a pupil may regress, or a star may have been marked as completed by mistake. TrackAble includes a quick and safe way to reset stars back to being incomplete—without removing any associated evidence. This guide shows you how to use the Incomplete/Removing of Stars feature and what to check before using it.
Important Notes Before You Begin

Changing a star from completed to uncompleted does not delete any evidence linked to that star.

This feature depends on your User Permissions. It must be enabled in:
Admin > Permissions
If you cannot access the feature, please ask your TrackAble administrator.
Step-by-Step: Removing Stars
1. Right-click to Select Stars

On the Assessment screen, locate the stars you want to change.

Right-click on each completed star.

Selected stars will highlight, and a box will appear with the option:
Refresh page
You may select multiple stars if needed.
2. Confirm the Incomplete Action

When you are happy with your selected stars, click:
Refresh page -
TrackAble will refresh the page and the selected stars will return to being incomplete.
3. Deselect a Star (Before Confirming)
If you select a star by mistake:

Right-click the star again before clicking Refresh page.

The star will revert to its original completed state.
Once the refresh button is clicked, the action is applied.
